Course Objective: 

Hazardous materials pose significant risks to health, safety, and the environment if not handled properly. This course provides participants with essential awareness and understanding of hazardous materials, including identification, classification, labeling, and safety precautions. Participants will learn how to recognize hazardous materials in the workplace, understand their potential risks, and take appropriate measures to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • Drivers who carry hazardous materials as part of their job duties 
  • Transportation workers who work with freight containing hazardous transportation materials 
  • Lab technicians who handle samples from dangerous substances 
  • Anyone who transports HazMat must have a valid HazMat endorsement on their driver’s license or commercial driver’s license (CDL)

Upon successful completion of the course, learners receive Alam AlSahara Hazardous Material course completion certificate, valid for two years.

Participants are required to achieve 100% attendance. Assessment for this course consists of a written post‑test with a minimum passing score of 75%. Participants who obtain a score of 75% or higher will be awarded a certificate of completion.
