Not at all. CAPM is specifically designed for entry-level professionals. The official PMI requirement is only a high school diploma or higher and 23 hours of project management education — both of which are fully covered in our training.
PMP (Project Management Professional) is designed for experienced project managers with at least 36 months of leading projects. CAPM is the entry-level version — perfect for those who are just starting out or have not yet formally led projects.
CAPM significantly increases your value to recruiters, especially in oil & gas, EPC, and corporate sectors. Many of our alumni have received interview invitations after adding CAPM to their CV.
After training, you receive a Certificate of Completion from Neotek. For the official CAPM credential, you need to register and pass the CAPM exam through the PMI website (pmi.org). We guide you through the preparation and registration process.
PMI sets the exam fee at approximately USD 225 (members) or USD 300 (non-members). This is separate from the training fee. We recommend becoming a PMI member first to save on the exam cost.
