Course Description: 

We have evaluated the required training courses in detail and we came up with a proposal for one-day training program, during which participants will develop an understanding of Scaffolding Inspection, Erection, Dismantling and Safety. 

The purpose of this scaffolding safety Training is to provide candidates with the working knowledge and skills in the methods of the basic safe erection and dismantling of basic scaffolds. 

 

The Scaffolding Safety training will assist participants in achieving their related objectives. Participants will be encouraged to apply all theories learnt to their current work environment 

To provide an awareness and develop the knowledge amongst employees as regards the hazards and risks might be occurred by Scaffolds. The course further gives an overview of the legislative measures in place to permit employees to safeguard themselves and others affected by work activities.

  • Employees and managers in industries where scaffolding is used, including construction, maintenance, and industrial operations.  
  • Safety trainers and compliance officers responsible for scaffolding safety protocols. 

 

Learning Objectives:  

  • Understand what a scaffold is.  
  • Understand the key criteria which differentiate different types of scaffolds.  
  • Understand the hazards of working at height on a scaffold.  
  • Understand the hazards of improperly erected scaffolds.  
  • Indicate the roles and responsibilities of supervisors when erecting scaffolds. 
  • Indicate damage to scaffolds which would deem them unusable.  
  • Understand the importance of fall protection and the differences of Fall Protection Systems. 
  • Discuss unsafe scaffold installations 
  • Practical Exercise: Proper erection, maintenance, and dismantling of the scaffold alongside the distribution of roles and responsibilities of personnel while working on the scaffold 

 

Certificate: 

Upon successful completion of the course, learners receive Alam AlSahara Scaffolding Erection & Dismantling course completion certificate, valid for two years.

Multiple Choice and Practical Tests 

 

Assessment Requirement 

Participants are required to achieve 100% attendance. Assessment for this course consists of a written post‑test and a practical scaffolding erection and dismantling assessment. The minimum passing score for the theory post‑test is 75%, and the minimum passing score for the practical assessment is 80%. The final course result is based on a combination of theory and practical scores, and participants must achieve a final score of at least 75% and be declared competent in the practical assessment to be certified.
